What’s included in the Foundational Bookkeeping package?
Every month we will put together a financial statement, consisting of a profit & loss, and balance sheet. These reports simplify and organize the transactions to help you understand your business, and empower you to make faster decisions for the future with confidence. These statements are often required when it comes to tax planning and mid-year loans. Included Access: unlimited support (via our client management portal)
Additional services going beyond the Foundational Package start at: Accrual basis accounting, detailed financials showing class tracking or job profitability, invoicing, bill payment services, payroll, sales tax filing, tax planning and preparation, legal aid, and long-term financial growth coaching.
Can I add onto the Foundational Bookkeeping package?
The Foundational Bookkeeping package is just that, foundational, we expect that our clients will add on, and customize services to meet their needs. One of the ways we approach this, is to offer accrual basis accounting. Just tell us what it is you need, and we can add on anything from bill payment to detailed profitability spreadsheets. If you require additional services beyond the Foundational, we encourage you to seek out a consultation with Christina.

What happens after I sign up for the Foundational Bookkeeping package?
We will schedule a meeting to begin to begin the on-boarding process. We will formalize the relationship by putting forward our request for access to necessary financial information and help resolve any pressing obstacles.
What information does Numinous Business Solutions need access to?
We will need access to your online business banking, credit cards, loan accounts, and third party e-commerce payment systems, as is the industry standard practice. Most institutions allow for “read only” status to be given upon your permission, this allows for peak efficiency and easy to read monthly financials.
If I have a question, how long does it take to get a response?
You can expect a response typically within 2 business days, however during tax season, this can be longer due to high volume.
Is QuickBooks Online required to sign up for the Foundational Bookkeeping package?
Yes! We use QuickBooks Online as our tool of choice to handle your bookkeeping (includes: Essentials, Plus, Advanced). Mind you, not all these softwares offer the same feature options, and each business has different bookkeeping requirements. Please consult with our firm before selecting a software type. If you do not currently use QuickBooks Online we can help you obtain a subscription. When allowing us to help you sign up, we can get you a discount on your subscription and your payment processing fees. Is a contract required?
No contract is required! We know our clients love our bookkeeping services, we have not seen the need to lock people into a contract. That said, because there is no contract, we do not offer partial refunds.
Is an engagement letter required?
Yes! We will be using terms of service that will act as your engagement letter, it will be sent to you through our client management portal, and when you are satisfied to ACCEPT these terms, the royal treatment begins!
